Concerts & Touring

Dan's show provides an exciting experience for the concertgoer. He performs a high-energy mix of Latin Jazz and Contemporary Jazz, Jazz Standards, Pop Instrumentals and original compositions that appeals to the true jazz patron as well as to more contemporary tastes.

Dan has toured and performed for thousands in many settings, from clubs to concerts to schools and universities. He has both domestic and international touring experience and is currently expanding his touring presence. He loves block bookings and provides discount school performances en route!

Lecture/demos, Workshops & Master Classes

Lecture/demos are hour-long segments, suitable for all ages, where the emphasis is on performance of a variety of Jazz selections interspersed with discussions of creative processes and applied techniques. Each session is targeted to your audience in an effort to reinforce your program or curriculum.

Workshops for elementary and secondary schools are designed to:

  • Impart knowledge, understanding and an appreciation of Jazz and all music.
  • Provide a base for further exploration of Jazz.
  • Teach the foundation of improvisational technique by hearing, playing and singing Jazz.
  • Foster each student's creative abilities by performing a Jazz Standard and creating new improvisation.

Master Classes and Residencies are day to weeklong sessions and can encompass a variety of activities aimed at intensive study. Brochures that fully describe lecture/demos, workshops and master classes are available.
